The
Truth About the Trans-Pacific Partnership
The
secret is out about what’s happening in Congress, and it’s
scary. The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the biggest SECRET global
trade deal you’ve never heard of, could drastically change all
our lives for the worse! The TPP is a massive ‘free trade’
agreement that would give authority to an international court,
stacked with corporate lawyers, to OVERRIDE our OWN LAWS and
regulations. This trade deal would send millions more jobs overseas
and roll back laws that have protected our working conditions, food,
land, water, air, availability and prices of medicine, patents,
banking, and even the Internet! What’s worse, the TPP can be
rushed through Congress over the next two weeks with little oversight
or debate using what is known as “Fast Track Authority.”
We must act quickly, because President Obama said he wants to see the
TPP made into LAW by OCTOBER. Join us for a riveting panel discussion
with the nation’s top activists on this topic—experts
from the fields of trade, medicine, labor, and environment. Find out
more about the enormity of what we’re facing—and how to
save ourselves from it!
